Description
Botanical Pearl lays bamboo, blossoms and lanterns over a soft pearl shimmer, so the chinoiserie art reads like a painted folding screen. A teal qilin, a white crane and a coral qilin guard the dragon tiles, compass stars in gold point the way on the winds, and gold treasures shine on the Jokers. The eight Flowers are garden plants, peonies to palms. Give it to a collector of blue and white porcelain, a friend with a garden room or a host who serves tea with every game.
160 Botanical Pearl American mahjong tiles, printed to order. Every numbered tile carries a black corner number, and the art sets the suits apart. Craks show no Chinese numeral. Flower and Joker are spelled out, and the winds show N, E, W, S on golden compass stars. The three dragons are pictures with no word: a teal qilin for Green, a white crane for Soap and a coral qilin for Red.
