Mahjong Racks

Our mahjong racks come in three styles, each a set of 4 with one rack for each player. The wooden racks are solid wood in a smooth reddish-brown finish, with a hinged pusher arm and a curved groove along the front that holds the tiles. The acrylic racks are 5 mm acrylic with a scalloped edge, in 10 colors: 4 tortoise, 5 shell and clear. The rattan look racks are clear acrylic with a woven cane pattern, honey cane on clear, with a scalloped or a straight edge. Also here: rack birds for the flat top of a rack, and a velvet rack bag with two sleeves that hold 4 racks.

Which racks have pushers? The wooden racks do. The pusher arm stays pinned at one end: lift it by the gold-tone knob, push the wall out, then lay it back down. The acrylic and rattan look rack pages do not list a pusher.

Do they fit my tiles? The acrylic and rattan look racks are about 20 in long. That leaves room for a wall of 19 stacks of our 24 mm Mini or 30 mm Classic tiles. A wall of 36 mm Large tiles runs longer than the rack. Our Pearl tiles are 0.98 in wide, so a wall of 19 runs about 18.6 in, shorter than these racks.
