Description
Crane Garden Pearl is the crane and peony garden on pearl tiles. A red-crowned crane flies over a cloud on the 1 Bam, ink bamboo fills the rest of the suit, and the Dots are coins in patterned rings, with a lotus on the 1. The Craks carry red characters with small ink pines. A jade dragon with peonies and a red dragon stand beside a ring of flying birds for the Soap. The ten Jokers are all different, from paper lanterns to an elephant and gold clouds. It suits a host who loves classic chinoiserie and a calm table.
160 Crane Garden Pearl American mahjong tiles, printed to order. Every numbered tile carries a corner number, and the art sets the suits apart. Each Crak carries the Chinese numeral and character in red. Each wind spells out North, East, South or West around a large first letter with a red sun. The three dragons are drawn: a jade green dragon, a framed ring with flying birds for the Soap and a red dragon, with no English word on them. Flower and Joker are spelled out.
