Description
French Bow Pearl sets the coquette art on pearl tiles, and the soft swirl makes every satin bow look freshly tied. Blush and black ribbons count up the Bams, pearl buttons in gold settings fill the Dots, and nine handbags carry the Craks, from a scalloped cream bag with a pearl handle to a black bag finished with a bow. A champagne bucket, a lace fan and a garden rose are the dragons, and the winds travel from a rose-covered cafe to the Eiffel Tower. Perfume, cat-eye sunglasses, a striped hat box and a silk scarf join the Flowers. It suits a bridal shower, a birthday brunch or a friend who saves every ribbon.
160 French Bow Pearl American mahjong tiles, printed to order. Every numbered tile carries a rose pink corner number, and the art sets the suits apart. The Craks carry no Chinese numeral: each number has its own handbag. Flower and Joker are spelled out, and each wind is a black N, E, W or S above a Paris scene. The three dragons print French words, not GREEN, RED or SOAP: CHAMPAGNE, an ice bucket with a pink bow, goes with the Bams; NOIR, a black lace fan, goes with the Dots and plays as the Soap; ROSE, a pink rose, goes with the Craks.
