Description
Paris Pearl gives the vintage French art a pearl glow, like a string of pearls on a vanity. Lily of the valley blooms on the Bams, rubies sparkle on the Dots, and the Craks hold perfume bottles, hatboxes and other vanity pieces. A window, the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and the Arc de Triomphe make the four winds, and stylish 1920s Parisiennes pose on all ten Jokers. It is a lovely gift for a Francophile, a bridal shower or a friend just back from Paris.
160 Paris Pearl American mahjong tiles, printed to order. Every numbered tile carries a burgundy corner number, and the art sets the suits apart. Craks show no Chinese numeral. Flower and Joker are spelled out, and the winds show N, E, W, S. The three dragons are pictures with no word: a green bookstall for Green, Sacre-Coeur for Soap and a red-awning cafe for Red.
